Which is more important when considering a college?

There are two colleges in particular i am considering; both of which have something I really want--Hamilton college in Clinton, NY has a huge expanse of courses in my desired major which all sound incredibly interesting; however, Hamilton is really secluded--hours from the city. My other choice is Tufts University in Medford, MA which does not have as many courses to offer but is much closer to the city. So my question is: which is more important to being happy while at college, location or education. also my desired major is economics.
