How to get rid of a pimple faster......?

I don't know if it's because it's close to my TOM or because I just started a new kind of birth control, but I have a few pimples (3 to be exact) on my face now, and one in particular is huge and embarrassing. I already popped it (bad, I know, but it was huge and looked like it was going to explode...really gross), but it there anything I can do to speed up the process of making this pimple and the other smaller ones go away faster? I don't mind having to go to work with them, but my 6 month anniversary is one week away and I would really like it to be gone by then (I don't want to have a huge, gross pimple on my face for the occasion). Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
